By using Latched (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. The Service is provided by Latched ("we," "us," or "our").

Latched is an AI-powered tool that analyzes photos of insurance cards to surface information about lactation and breastfeeding coverage. We use your card image and answers to questions to generate an estimated coverage summary. We do not provide medical, legal, or financial advice, and our results are not a guarantee of coverage.

Latched's coverage estimates are informational only. Always confirm coverage details directly with your insurance provider before scheduling any service. We are not responsible for decisions made based on our estimates, including any costs incurred for services that turn out not to be covered.

You may use the Service without creating an account. If you provide an email address, phone number, or other contact information, you agree that the practice you are connecting with (e.g., the lactation consultant whose widget you used) may contact you about scheduling and coverage.

You agree not to:

• Submit insurance cards or information that is not yours
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

The Service uses large language models to interpret card images and generate coverage summaries. AI output can be incorrect or incomplete. You are responsible for verifying all information before relying on it.

The Service, including software, design, and content (other than your own data), is owned by Latched and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute it without our permission.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Latched will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
